Ed Hennessy

Ed is one of a limited number of globally located Master Training Partners with Multi-Health Systems.  He has been personally trained and certified in EQ-i by Dr. Rich Handley.  Dr. Handley is Co-Author of the EQ-360 with Dr. Reuven Bar-On a pioneer of Emotional Intelligence study. Additional certifications include personal training by Dr. Roger Pearman creator of The Pearman Personality Integrator as well as certification in the HRG Hardiness Resilience Gauge. As a Master Certification Trainer Ed has trained as experts in these assessments, leaders in Human Resources, Organizational Development & Training, Executive Coaches, and a variety of other professionals all with the common goal of becoming the Emotional Intelligence or Personality Type expert for their organization or practice.

 

Ed’s years of military service as a U.S. Army Officer as well 15 years of executive recruitment experience gives Ed unique insights into the connection of leadership and emotional intelligence. As a EQ Trainer/Coach/Facilitator Ed delivers Emotional Intelligence workshops as part of client Leadership Development programs around the country. Additionally, he partners with business professionals at all career levels working with them on their individual emotional intelligence assessment and development.

As a U.S. Army Veteran Ed’s desire to assist other veterans in their career transition led him to be a key founder in what became a national search firm. The firms mission to identify and evaluate high potential leaders transitioning from the military and place them with world class organizations resulted in rapid growth and earned  the company a reputation for excellence.

Prior to founding the search firm Ed has been successful in sales/business development positions on a national level. His efforts have been documented by awards for personal performance as well as being part of a team that set INC 500. fastest growing company in America records and is now in the INC 500 Hall of Fame.

A spirited entrepreneur with a rich history of military and business leadership, Ed was Awarded the “Voice of Democracy” Medal from the VFW at an early age as well as earning the rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America. Ed attended Norwich University (the United States oldest private military college) where he earned his degree in Business Administration.
